PLEASANT HILL HIGH SCHOOL HALL OF FAME

Two years ago Bob Berggren, Paul James and others began the pursuit of creating a Hall of Fame for Pleasant Hill High School. Our beloved alma mater had been closed for over 40 years, and proud alumni wanted to remember and honor some of the men and women who would forever be known as Rams.

On Aug. 16, 2024, we held our inaugural induction at the Contra Costa Country Club in Pleasant Hill. Sixteen athletes, six coaches, two teams and the school’s first principal became charter members of the PHHS Hall of Fame. The ceremony attracted a capacity crowd of over 225 people, more tickets could have been sold, and everyone had a blast.

Now, as we prepare for the 2025 class, we have a website (www.phhshof.org) that includes nomination forms, a set of by-laws, information about each member of the first class and numerous photos.

However, money is needed to continue to support the website, hold an annual induction ceremony and purchase the plaques given to our inductees. That’s where you come in. Every donation you make helps. No matter how big or small, these donations will go to helping fund what is mentioned above.

PHHS is our school. It was a great school. And now we’re remembering and honoring the great athletes who attended. In future years, hopefully we can expand the HOF to include musicians, artists, industry leaders and faculty who made PHHS so special.

Please donate what you can so we can keep the PHHS Rams alive for our children, grandchildren and the Pleasant Hill community at large.
